Garden Cottage is a traditional, stone built cottage in a beautiful location. Elevated upon the hill side and nestled among deciduous woodland, the cottage has lovely open views and a private secluded setting.

This Isle of Mull cottage is reached by driving over a small bridge and burn via a private driveway, which leads to the garden and parking where there is also a picnic bench for eating out.

The cottage has a useful covered entrance way with a large stone column by the front door which leads into a L-shaped corridor in which is light and bright with useful coat hooks and space for boots. At the end of this corridor is the living room with a great open fireplace, comfortable seating and great views from the windows. The double bedroom with feature fireplace (not working) is next to the living room, and the bathroom is on the opposite side of the hall with its handbasin, bath with shower over and w.c.

The kitchen has lots of natural light and includes a dining table and chairs to enjoy an evening meal. Closer to the entrance is the twin bedroom. There are some lovely walks from the cottage door, following the track up the hill will lead to an old iron age fort where there are spectacular panoramic views of the island and surrounds.

Following the track down the hill will lead to the old bridge over the river Aros where it meets the sea, a nice walk around the coast past a few small bays will lead to Aros castle before rounding back to Garden Cottage.

This is a good central location on the island. Tobermory, the island's main village is a fifteen minute drive from the cottage. The nearest eateries are in Salen which is five minutes by car or fifteen minutes on foot. Here you can also find the village shop, garage, cafe, cycle hire and restaurant.

This is a perfect holiday cottage on Mull for those looking for a traditional, comfortable base for a holiday. Bed linen and towels can be provided at an additional charge of £15 per head (just fill in you requirements on the booking form).
