Drumbuie View is a detached holiday cottage on the Isle of Mull’s east coast. This is a convenient location, with easy access to the island's main town, Tobermory, to the north and the National Scenic Area around Loch na Keal, to the west. The cottage sleeps four guests and enjoys an elevated position above the Sound of Mull between Tobermory and Salen.

Arriving at the property, there is plenty of parking space on the driveway for two cars. The grounds of the cottage include a lawned area with picnic bench, and there are great views over the Sound from the wee hill behind the cottage.

Entering the cottage, there is a spacious hall area with a light and welcoming feel, and useful storage spaces for coats and boots. The living room is a great space, with a large window and double patio doors which open out to the lawn. There are comfortable leather sofas; a good range of books and films to enjoy, and a modern electric flame effect fire, providing a focal point to the room. Again, the room feels light and airy, owing to the big windows and neutral decor, giving it a fresh, contemporary feel.

A set of double doors leading into the open plan kitchen/dining room. This is another lovely bright space with quality furnishings and equipment throughout and a great table for dining or playing games in the evening. A door leads directly to the rear garden.

Just off the hall is a well appointed, large family bathroom with bath, w.c and basin and a large shower unit. The master double has a king sized bed, and en-suite bathroom with shower unit, w.c. and basin, as well as a wall mounted television. The second double bedroom also has a television, and its own en-suite bathroom with shower unit, basin and w.c. Comfortable bedding and quality linens are provided.

Drumbuie’s location above the coast means you can enjoy an evening stroll down to the shore of the Sound of Mull, watch the boats pass by, and keep an eye out for the otters and porpoise that inhabit these waters. Crossing the road there are also nice walks over the surrounding hills above the cottage.

Drumbuie is an immaculately presented cottage throughout, with lots of attention to detail to help make this your ideal home from home and a place you will want to return to. Tobemory is just ten minutes away by car to the north with its gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
