Dhachaidh Mo Cridh (pronounced Dak-ay-mo-cree) is a modern and spacious self-catering holiday cottage in Tobermory. Sleeping up to six people, this welcoming and warm home offers a comfortable and relaxing base in a quiet area, with open countryside and great views just a short walk from the doorstep.

Stepping inside the house, there is a hall, a cloakroom with w.c. and basin, along with a utility room with plenty of storage for belongings. A large double height dining area offers a great space for a family meal, with local artwork and lots of natural light filling the room. Doors open out to a large decking area, with views over the well-tended gardens and towards the harbour.

This is a warm, well-furnished and comfortable cottage, ideal for both couples and family groups with a pretty garden that can be seen from the house. There is parking for three cars beside the house, and a garden shed can be used by guests to store bikes and kayaks.

The large and very well-equipped kitchen has a range cooker, breakfast/dining table and television. With all this space, cooking for a family group will feel like a breeze! Across the hallway, the living room has comfortable seating, a wood burning stove and television with DVD. Decorated in warm, neutral shades and with lovely soft furnishings, it’s the perfect place in which to sit back and relax. Sliding doors open to the decking area and you can just see Tobermory's harbour from the living room.

Stairs lead up to a big landing, which has great views through the Velux windows. The first double bedroom has a lovely view, ample storage and a television too. A large walk-in closet is big enough to be used as a cot room for infants. There is a twin bedroom too, which has plenty of storage space. Both these bedrooms share the main family bathroom – a bright room with high quality shower unit, basin, w.c. and bath.

The master double room is also spacious and has an ensuite bathroom with basin, w.c. and shower. Again, there are great views towards the harbour, a television and a walk-in closet. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.

Dhachaidh Mo Cridh is situated in the picturesque village of Tobermory, so guests can make use of all the amenities here. There is an arts centre, museum, marine harbour centre, a good range of small shops and restaurants too. Lots of boat trips frequently depart from here in the summer months. From either end of the harbour there are coastal walks - one leading to a lighthouse and the other leading to Aros Park, where a network of footpaths can be explored. Stay at Dhachaidh Mo Cridh and you get the best of both, with country views and the conveniences of Mull’s main town just a stone’s throw away.

Kitchen and Dining: The large kitchen at Dhachaidh Mo Cridh is well equipped with quality appliances and all you need for self catering. There is a large American style fridge freezer, electric range cooker with gas hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. There is a music system here too with radio and a dining table to seat six. There is another larger dining table in the hall space with dresser and views to the garden and a cupboard with board games, selection of toys and high chair.

Utility Room:The utility room houses the washing machine and dryer on the ground floor and there is a handy cloakroom area adjacent for coats and boots.

Bedrooms: There are two double bedrooms in the property and a twin bedroom, all on the first floor.

Bathrooms: The master double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle, basin and toilet. There is another family bathroom on the first floor which has a bath, shower cubicle, basin and toilet. There is also a handy cloakroom on the ground floor.

Garden: The garden has a mix of mature shrubs, planted borders, lawned and gravelled areas. There is a shed which guests have access to for storing bikes and there is a barbecue here too. The garden is not fully enclosed.

Heating: A ground sourced heat pump provides green energy and central heating to the house, supplying radiators and underfloor heating.

Multi Fuel Stove: Wood for the stove is provided for your stay.
