We absolutely loved our stay here. Peace and tranquillity was exactly what we were looking for. The views are fabulous. The cottage was spotless, warm and well equipped with everything we needed. We were kept entertained by ewes and lambs in the neighbouring field and visits from Red Deer throughout the day and evening were fascinating. Great local walks and easy walk to the beach. Interesting to see wild goats too. We enjoyed good food at the inn in Pennygael and the shop there is well stocked and open long hours. Thanks Amy & Sam, you are great hosts. We hope to return.

Beautiful remote hideaway. Watching the weather change constantly and listening to the sea helped hugely when we were smitten with the lurgy! Wildlife amazing, visiting woodpecker something to keep a look out for. Sam and Amy great hosts

This place is magical. The cottage which was spotless, well appointed and easy to stay in, also has the most amazing views. We ditched our plans to revisit Iona in preference of learning more about Carsaig. We loved the beach, the woods, the walking and the wildlife. As we were blessed with the most fabulous Mull weather, there was really nowhere else to be. Sam and Amy make great hosts, there if needed in exactly the right way. We will return.

Absolutely loved our stay, I am a wildlife photographer and the wildlife didnt disappoint. The cottage was well equipped and clean and the views were stunning. Enjoyed feeding the garden birds and we saw otters, white-tailed eagles, Golden eagles and heard a cuckoo in the woods. Loved waking up to deer in the field and goats on the beach. Photos on my socials of our wonderful stay. We hope to book again in the near future.

Very well appointed cottage in a wonderfully remote location, spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Nature all around including deer, wild goats, seals and numerous sea birds. The coastal walking is demanding but rewarding and the shop at Pennyghael (10-15 mins) is very well stocked. A fabulous stay!

Such good value, well equipped with amazing views. We saw sea eagles fly into the trees by the beach below the cottage and saw more at Loch Buie (great cafe there too). Location is great for visits to Croggan to see otters and it is nearer to Fionnphort for visits to Iona. Lovely bakery just down the road too. If you like the film 'I know where I am going' you will love this location and be amazed at how the scenery has hardly changed after so long. The weather was a bit wet but we didn't care as this resulted in amazing waterfalls, particularly next to the famous 'phone box. LOVELY!

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Aird Ghlas, it is in the most beautiful location, remote but 10 mins drive to a pub & shop. The cottage is really thoughtfully kitted out with excellent cooking facilities & items like a heated clothes rail (really useful after a wet walk). The owners live close by & were very friendly & helpful. We loved waking up to the herd of red deer in the field & watching the birds on the beach whilst having breakfast. They also made our dog very welcome & having an enclosed garden was very useful.

Booking was easy through the website. Just the drive from the ferry to the accommodation is a lovely experience in itself. The accommodation is very well thought out, spacious, comfortable and lovely and warm. The patio overlooks the beach and the islands in the distance and the spectacular cliffs of Mull. A pleasant surprise were the Red Deer right on our doorstep, oh and the sweet little black cat that came to say hello before we left.
Value wise, it's very much worth the money. Peace and tranquility being the big bonuses.
