Hazelbank Cottage is a south facing stone built cottage set well back from the road about half a mile west of the village of Lochdon, only ten minutes drive from Craignure and 500 metres from the turning to Grasspoint.
In an area full of wildlife, it used to be the HQ for the RSPB on Mull and it stands in a large wild garden which has a burn running through it.
Hazelbank is a delightful cottage in an enviable, tranquil location.
Enjoy a walk up the burn behind the cottage, through mature deciduous trees and find a beautiful waterfall and pool, before the ground rises to Dun da Ghaoithe (2,512ft).
Spend cosy evenings beside the open fire in the living room or go out into the garden to take in the fresh air, look at the stars and watch out for wildlife.
Hazelbank is a great base to explore the Isle of Mull from - a forty minute drive will take you to Tobermory, the main village on the island with its famous harbour and coloured houses. In the opposite direction, head to Fionnphort from where you can catch boats to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Islands.
Hazelbank Cottage Information
Living room: Television with freeview, selection of books & open fire.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge freezer, oven and microwave (no washing machine).
Bedroom: One double room (standard double bed) and twin bedroom
Bathroom: Basin, w.c and bath.
Garden: A couple of lawns, garden bench and a stream bordering one side of the property grounds.
Open Fire: There is a basket of logs provided on arrival with more logs available free of charge (information in the cottage when you arrive).
Linen: A duvet and pillows are provided. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers and towels.
