Spey Cottage provides superb holiday accommodation. It is well-equipped and well maintained and ideally situated for exploring North Mull. This was our second visit where we stayed at Spey Cottage and we will certainly return again. Thoroughly recommended.

A lovely stay, Spey Cottage Is very welcoming, warm, clean and cosy. It's well equipped, a great kitchen and bathroom and a snug living room for cosy evenings around the fire. We loved being able to stroll down into Tobermory without all the hassle of driving and finding a parking space. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back. The owner is very considerate and contact was prompt and efficient. Thank you!

Great cottage. Was there for Xmas week. Weather rubbish for the entire 7 days (as it was the previous week in Dervaig). The coal fire was a beauty, and much needed for those cold, wet and windy evenings (and afternoons). Cottage is very central, and has great facilities. The website photos seem to make the cottage look bigger than it actually is... but that's not to say it's small, 'cos it isn't. The shower was fantastic! Comms with the cottage owner excellent. Would I stay again? Yup.

Spey Cottage was fabulous in every way. It was ideally located for exploring Mull and extremely comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean and there was plenty of space for walking gear etc. We could not fault it and will definitely stay there again.

Spey Cottage was a lovely base to explore Tobermory and Mull. Amazing weather helped with a fantastic week. We will definitely be back.

Spey Cottage was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Very well equipped with lovely comfy beds and an amazing shower. It's a fantastic base for exploring Mull and we always got a parking spot right outside. It's close to the main street but is down (and up) a steep hill so do bear in mind. We found it no issue and would stay again.

Spey Cottage is great, a perfect location just a short walk from Tobermory centre and easy to access by car to travel around the island. The cottage itself is well kept, nicely furnished and well equipped for a family holiday. The rooms are spacious and light and airy. Super powerful shower for blasting the sand away, and all the kitchen stuff needed for rustling up a tasty meal. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely return next time we head for Mull.

Beautiful cottage, spacious, comfortable rooms and well equipped. A lovely, cosy feel to it, with a good garden area to relax in too. The location was great for us - away from the busy centre but only a ten minute walk from the Mishnish! Would certainly recommend.

Excellent stay in this lovely property. Very clean, warm and well equipped. Loved being able to store our bikes and have somewhere to dry any wet clothes. Having basics like black bags, tea and coffee and dish washing liquid was also very appreciated! Would definitely recommend!

Had everything you'd need, ideal for our week's stay on Mull. Clean, comfortable, with a great shower/bath. Was looking forward to using the fireplace but you didn't need it as the house was ideally heated. Would recommend. Thank you.

Perfect place for a quiet winter break! I didn't have to worry about the cold; the old cottage was as warm as I could wish. I would definitely stay there again.

Spey cottage is a warm and welcoming cottage and a perfect base for a holiday on Mull. We had everything we needed and more. A wonderful relaxing week.

Stayed here with my Son and a friend for a week in September. The lovely Cottage is situated a short uphill walk above Tobermory harbour so is only five minutes away from the shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Both the kitchen and bathroom are modern and the decor is all to a high standard. The owners even left us biscuits and a bottle of fizz! If I ever come back to Tobermory I would certainly check if this place was available before looking anywhere else.

Fabulous cottage just a few mins from Main Street Tobermory. Very cosy and tastefully done. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very well equipped and excellent wi-fi. Loved all the little touches around the cottage. Would certainly book again.

Spey cottage is lovely. We expected it to be good but it surpassed expectations. Such a comfortable bed and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. Great bath. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting in the peaceful garden which was a real sun trap. We hope to visit Mull again, and would not hesitate to book Spey Cottage for our visit.

The cottage was very well appointed and comfortable. My wife was ill for most of our stay but because the cottage was so comfortable and nice that it made our stay more bearable.

A lovely cosy cottage. Very warm even when outside is very cold. In a great location - the main street of Tobermory is just down the (steep!) hill! The cottage had everything we needed and Iain was very helpful. We would definitely return.

Great cottage, well kitted out with everything you need for a home away from home. Very clean and comfortable throughout with a modern bathroom. Short walk down to the harbour but plenty of free parking in Tobermory if you prefer to take the car.

Impressive vista, all amenities in Tobermory are within walking distance. The house is immaculately clean. Perfect for a couple or small family.

Cottage was very clean in an excellent location. Well-stocked, but could do with some small drinking glasses for fruit juice or whisky, as the glasses were absolutely huge, and some cleaning items, as we could not find any. We loved the garden and the beds were extremely comfortable. Seller communicated well. Recommend.

Spey Cottage is a peaceful haven within easy reach of all that Tobermory has to offer. The bedrooms are bright and airy, the kitchen very well equipped and the bathroom modern. Many extras such as all the beach stuff..spades , pails, seats , picnic hamper etc are a nice touch as is the bottle of fizz!
The comprehensive folder of information is all you need for the cottage, town and surrounds.
The garden provides a quiet retreat from the buzz of the town and is bee, bird and butterfly friendly. Inhale/ exhale!

Our first visit to Mull was extra special by finding Spey Cottage. It’s a perfect place for a family or one or two couples. A very well equipped dining kitchen and a comfortable sitting room and light and airy bedrooms. A patio with garden furniture provides a nice spot to enjoy the evening sun. Five minutes walk downhill to the harbour.

Spey Cottage exceeded our expectations and I would definitely book again. Spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, it felt like being in a lovely home and is one of the nicest self-catering cottages I have stayed in. Loved the welcome prosecco and Isle of Mull biscuits. Thank you!

This was our second holiday in Spey Cottage and we’d have no hesitation in booking it again. It’s well situated in the town and is comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had one issue with a faulty lamp which the owner sorted immediately. Thank you Iain! Would heartily recommend it to others.

We had a great week at Spey Cottage. The house is lovely, in a good location and well equipped. If we return to Mull we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Spey Cottage is in a great location overlooking Tobermory Harbour and gives easy access to the town and surrounding area. The cottage is furnished to a good standard and given the weather being so wet during our stay we made the most of the wonderful log fire. Sadly due to circumstances many restaurants we either closed or only serving take away so having a decent well equipped kitchen enabled us to make the most of home cooking and buying some outstanding produce from the Tobermory Smokehouse. This is our eighth visit to Mull , it's a fantastic island and it won't be our last.

A lovely cottage with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. Some nice gifts left for us on arrival, husband particularly grateful for the Tobermory Whisky. We had a great week and stunning weather. We loved the Isle of Mull and it was a wrench to leave and come home. I would love to return one day.

This was mine and my brothers first visit to Mull, and certainly will not be our last.

The island itself there his plenty to see and do and tobermory his a great base, good dining hospitalality at the Tobermory hotel.

Spey cottage proved to be a holiday that will stay in our memory for a long time. It is far and away the best self catering accommodation we have had in our 7 visits to Mull. The kitchen offers everything you could want if you choose to cook in.The bedroom views are spectacular, especially sunrise, and the utility room is great with washer, dryer and lots of space for airing off damp clothes. The whole cottage is well appointed with an easy atmosphere and best of all, everything works, unlike other places we have stayed. We were fortunate with the weather, only one wet afternoon/evening.

Spey Cottage is comfortable, homely and stylish. It is in an excellent location within easy reach of the centre of Tobermory and is a very good base from which to explore Mull. It has clearly been recently refurbished and is extremely well equipped. We would highly recommend it and would certainly stay there again if we return to Mull.

Spey Cottage is in a very nice location, a foot path about 100yds away leads down to the main st. The cottage is a well equipped, with a good size kitchen and eating area. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom is a good size. The cottage was spotless, and the parking outside excellent. We went to Mull and the end of June and the weather was 'hot' and dry and if you are going to eat out you must book, we booked Cafe Fish a month in advance.

Spey is beautifully equipped, sympathetically furnished, immaculately clean and In a great location, two minutes walk from the Main Street, it has a lovely garden, easy on street parking and every possible attention has been paid to detail. We'd highly recommend this property. Cosy, comfortable and the woodburner is a bonus. Can't praise the MacLeans highly enough for the way they strived to ensure our holiday was as stress free and easy as humanly possible.

First went to this great cottage ln2009. First holiday after summer birth of my wee girl. Liked it so much we continued to return 10yrs running. Even getting married in Tobermory and having a pre reception drink in Spey. Fantastic! Great sized kitchen brilliant bathroom that view in the morning oh! That shower ,comfy beds large bedrooms log burning fire well equipped utility room and a garden. I’m going to miss you this Year Spey see you in the future

Had a week at Spey Cottage in April after a couple of days at the other end of Mull at Fionnphort and were lucky as had sunny weather most days - the cottage was warm and cosy and beds comfy and great shower- the back garden is a little sun trap too on a nice day as sheltered. The house has everything you need and lovely views from the bedrooms and bathroom - not far from the seafront ( big hill back up though so a bit fitter by end of the week) great base for exploring Mull too. Very good communication before and during the stay from the owners too - hope to return as we loved the cottage.
