Towards the edge of the charming conservation village of Dervaig, Cuin View is a beautifully appointed self catering holiday apartment on Mull’s north coast. Set on the hillside above the village, the apartment occupies the ground floor of the traditional white house, giving you direct access to the garden and great views enjoyed from the front of the property.

Arriving at Cuin View after a scenic drive through Glen Bellart and past the shores of the loch, there is parking for up to two cars to the side of the apartment. Make your way through the garden gate to reach the front door, giving private access to the apartment. Step over the threshold and you're instantly welcomed into the main living area, kitchen and dining space. Comfortable seating and lots of homely touches make this a lovely place to unwind and relax after a day's adventures. Put your feet up beside the flame-effect fire with a good book, or enjoy an evening of competition with board games.

The kitchen flows into the living space with a perfectly positioned dining table, making the experience sociable while still having space to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering, with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine that will be a welcome treat in the mornings. The dining table to seat four makes the most of the view from the window, and on those long Hebridean summer nights, you can dine outside on the gravel patio area, or simply have a drink or two while taking in the sunset views.

The master double bedroom is located in the opposite wing of the apartment. An elegantly furnished room with homely soft furnishings and great quality bed linen, this room has great views over the garden too. Conveniently, the family bathroom is located next to this double and features a large shower unit, basin and w.c.

Returning to the living area, you can access the hallway with plenty of storage space for binoculars, outdoor gear and maps. From here, the twin bedroom is reached. Another spacious room with plenty of storage provided, Cuin View really does feel like a home from home to unpack and settle into. Choose between a single and king-sized double bed to best suit your needs in the twin bedroom.

Mature flowering shrubs frame corners of the garden, while the lawn promises the perfect playground for families to enjoy. With a lucky aspect, the garden gets the sun all day long, so you can enjoy the outdoor space whatever plans you have for the day. Being fenced, this is a great space for dogs to play too.

The amenities of the village of Dervaig are just a short walk away and include the oldest inn on Mull, which serves food, as well as a well-stocked village shop. Just a few miles down the road, the restaurant Am Birlinn is also a must-visit, serving up some of the island's finest fare, as well as the Calgary Tea Room a few minutes further on.

The famous Calgary beach with its expansive white shell sands is 15 minutes by car, while Mull's famous harbour town lies 20 minutes to the east. Check into Cuin View and you have some of the island's best landscapes and experiences all within easy reach, whether heading out on a scenic tour, setting sail on a boat trip or simply enjoying the network of superb walks that North Mull has to offer.
