Well appointed, comfortable lodge which is well located for all of the beautiful beaches on the Ross of Mull and only 10 away from the ferry to Iona. The smart TV and WiFi were a bonus and I will return to Assapol Lodge without hesitation. If you are looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful to recharge t(e batteries, this is it.

A fabulous and secluded property, very comfortable and well equipped.
Perfect for two adults and great for pets.
A nice walk into the village of Bunessan, and easy access to Fionnphort and the ferry for Iona, which is a must.
Turn right from lodge and follow track to the beautiful Kilvickeon beach , no need to venture any further!
    An ideal getaway spot.

Lovely stay at the Lodge, very comfortable, great garden for the dog and secure. The direct access to the loch was an added bonus. Great beaches nearby, trip to Iona is a great day out.
    Thanks Donald.

Brilliant stay at Assapol. Cosy and comfy lodge, perfect after a day exploring. Fantastic to be right on the loch, perfect for paddling, fishing and swimming. Very quiet and secluded. White sand beaches a few miles from house. Didn’t want to leave! Thank you Donald

Really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, comfortable & well equipped & in such a stunning location. Great wild swim spot off the jetty & nice walk to the beautiful Kilvickeon beach. A wonderfully quiet & tranquil break, we shall return soon.

Fabulous cosy cabin on Loch Assapol. Surprisingly private, with steep garden down to lake, perfect for morning swims. The cabin is simple and comfortable, warm and dry. It’s south facing and easy to get to, though the turning to Scoor isn’t signposted. So quiet and peaceful. Nearest beach about a mile and a bit. Easy access for Iona. Best shop at Pennyghael.

Editor's Note: We have a sign ordered, which will be installed at the road end as soon as possible, to help with directions to the cottage (we send a map and written directions too).
