Had the best week on Mull! The cottage is really welcoming, very comfortable and well equipped. We were blessed with fantastic weather - no rain at all. Great walks, wonderful wildlife and a good selection of places to eat out. Already booked for next year!

Lochside View is a lovely modern property which is situated in an idyllic location with stunning views to the loch and islands in the distance. The property has everything needed for a self catering holiday including modern appliances in a modern kitchen which is open plan with ample dining space. The bedrooms are both immaculately clean with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and bath, both clean to a high standard. The heating radiators can be switched on individually and the property heats up quickly. We would definitely return again!

Beautiful location with constantly changing views, reflecting the weather. We really grew into this area of Mull which is totally different from the north, which we also loved!! Stunning beaches, wonderful walks. The coast and countryside gradually revealed itself and we fell in love with it. We will definitely be returning to this very comfortable cottage.

Wonderful cottage overlooking the loch. Very comfortable and well equipped. 2 visits to Iona and 2 swims. September can be the best month, warm and sunny all week. Loved be the 4 of us. The Ross is so different than the north of the island.

Easy and comfortable to stay here. The setting and views are a constant delight whatever the weather. Walking, angling and wildlife are within minutes of Lochside. Highlight events - the walk to the south end of Iona in sunshine that made the beach sparkle; the walk on the Burg to see it close up; the otter hunting amongst the seaweed at low tide in front of Gowanbrae, and the feeling of our return to a place we love.

Very well equipped and spacious, great location. Could not be happier with the property. Only one problem we encountered was the poor internet connection during our stay.
    Would definitely book there again.

A lovely location with a beautiful coastal view. A modern build property and very well equipped Spacious and contemporary furnishings. Bunessan village is close and very handy for shopping and a drink and a meal at the local inn. Would not hesitate to return here. WiFi not so good, but that is down to BT I suspect.

The most beautiful house I have ever rented, beautiful position and views as well. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. Easy walk to village where there is a well stocked Spar. The village pub has not fully reopened following the pandemic so restricted hours on restricted days with a restricted menu! The Spar does have a good selection of bottled Ales! So many interesting walks within the area and wild life abounds never before considered meadow pipits and pied wagtails as garden bird with we had those along with Hoodies and Stock doves! Magical place seals basking on the island!

Excellent cottage with beautiful views from the patio. On arrival couldn't believe how much space there was in the cottage very clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and tumble dryer which came in handy and a few every day essentials like tea and coffee. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and very comfortable beds so you know you'd get a good sleep after travelling around Mull. Great little pub and restaurant in Bunessan and a spar shop. Plenty of wildlife including Buzzards, kestrels seals. Definitely will be going back

What a heavenly experience! A snug and light filled cottage with the most beautiful views, rain or shine. The owner, Sally, was very attentive and helpful. Well equipped kitchen. I had so much fun watching the horses, sheep, geese, other birds, and an otter! A very relaxing place to rest.

Wonderful cottage with spectacular views over the Loch with sunset views. We chose a week with amber weather warnings but still enjoyed local beaches and was lovely to come ‘home’ to a warm cottage have a hot shower and put our feet up to play games. On the one day that was fine we had a trip over to Iona which was really special. The cottage had everything we could wish for. Would definitely recommend the cottage for a brilliant holiday rental

If you want a superbly equipped house in an idyllic setting look no further.
Add to that excellent seafood at reasonable prices at the bistro in Bunessan and at the Creel in Fionnphort and you are a foodies dream!
If you enjoy beaches try Fidden - it is as good a beach as you will find anywhere.

Amazing spot, lovely cottage, fabulous views - early morning to sunset and beyond. Mull is magic and this cottage provides the excellent facilities to enjoy it to the full. The view from the living room just makes one smile everytime one enters it. Lochside is so well equipped, furnished and fitted out, oodles of hot water....a treat to come back to after a day exploring

This is a gem of a new build cottage. It was much bigger and spacious than I expected. The kitchen had all the things you would expect and more. I loved the huge shower and there seemed to be an endless supply of hot water. Both bedrooms were big enough and provided lots of storage space. The lounge area is just amazing. You can never tire of that view regardless of the weather. We had low cloud, rain, sleet, hail, snow and blazing sunshine all in one day and the views remained breathtaking. Managed to sit out briefly one evening and gaze at the zillion stars............ just fantastic.

Wonderful spot to explore mull. Beautiful sunsets. Beaches a short drive away, Iona and Staffa boat trip was amazing. Blessed to see the first puffins of the season on Staffa, stags, deer, buzzards, eagles, seals, dolphins at carsaig.... we had a wonderful week and the cottage is perfect for a self catering holiday. Food at the Keel Row at fionnphort was fab and such a warm welcome. Mull is a truly stunning, unspoilt, beautiful part of the world. Lochside is the ideal base to explore this wonderful island, everything you need in a cottage with superb views. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

A November holiday could have been risky with the weather but fell in love with Bunnesan area. Cottage a brilliant place to be warm and comfortable. Great beds and cooking facilities. One of our best holidays ever. Otters, golden eagles, sea eagles, hen harriers, deer. Could go on. With right clothing were able to cycle and walk every day. Thanks, Alex. Perfect.

A fantastic cottage with a wonderful view. The rain let us down a bit- but then it is November!
We appreciated the warmth on our return from works- as did our dog. The cottage is extremely warm and well presented- good and easy living.
We loved the walks from the door and easy access to the village- out of it but near enough.
All in all a lovely time..

The owners of the cottage were really friendly and kind. Wifi, fasciitis and cleanness were excellent. We were staying with our children and they very much enjoyed it and the three friendly horses around made it so especiall to them. We could get fresh eggs everyday just from next door! Stunning views and very comfortable! And close to an excellent restaurant in Bunessan called 'baker shop' I think but they do really good food! Also close to the ferry port to Iona where I had to cross every day so it as only 10-15min drive. We definitely recommend this cottage and hope we can return soon!
