East Loft Reviews

Very much enjoyed our stay at East Loft. The accommodation was comfortable and we loved having contol over the heating. Being above the Calgary Bay Co. cafe is a huge bonus- highly recommended too. Lots to explore in the local area and so we hardly used our car. Being May the birdsong was wonderful and cuckoos were heard most days. We plan to return.

Perfect cosy retreat with everything for a relaxing stay. I felt instantly at home thanks to the hosts hospitality and the cafe serving amazing fare. There was also a wood fired pizza van on one evening. Proximity to the beach was fantastic. Beautiful walks and the wonderful Am Birlinn restaurant were in easy reach. Already booked to return. Can highly recommend. Loved it

A wonderful apartment in every respect. Full of light, beautifully furnished, well-equipped, warm and only a short walk from the picturesque, Calgary Bay. Add to all this the delicious homemade food served in the cafe, and the welcoming staff who work there. Ben and Lou, the owners, could not have been more helpful or generous. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at EastLoft on the Isle of Mull. The space was bright, airy and really spacious – a lovely place to relax after a day out. It was well equipped, and the location was ideal with the café just downstairs and the sculpture trail nearby.
We walked the 10 minutes down to Calgary beach most days, and even with two other accommodations on site and the café open, it was a peaceful and quiet spot throughout.
A brilliant base for our holiday – and we were a bit envious of the gorgeous monstera plants too!

Second visit to Calgary (Cart Studio last year). Both fantastic however the East Loft was perfect. The new owners are as helpful and pleasant as the old ones. My only comment would be that hopefully the menu in the excellent cafe will grow a bit more with time. The cakes are very good though.

Thils loft conversion was a fantastic find in Mull .It was attractively decorated and spacious for a couple (with 2 dogs)..The living area had a lovely sofa ,small table and TV and an attractive dining table .The kitchen was well fitted ,the bedroom had a very large comfy double bed and the bath room very light and airy .All of these features made the loft itself a pleasure to stay in .It's location is absolutely fantastic being next to the woodland sculpture garden ( amazing ) and of course ,just 5 minutes away ,the breathtaking Calgary beach. All in all , it was a wonderful holiday!
