To book a cottage, either call or email us with your preferred date.  If the cottage is available we will then reserve the cottage for you for two weeks, during which time we ask that you send a cheque for 50% of the full amount to confirm your booking, with the remainder due two months before the rental date.

- Please note we provide duvets and pillows in all of the cottages,
but ask you to bring your own linen (sheets, covers and towels) -

Our preferred method of payment is by cheque, made payable to Auchnacraig Estate. If you would like to pay by bank transfer please get in touch and we will provide you with our details. For international bank transfers, there is a charge of £15.

One half of the total rent, payable at the time of the booking is entirely non-refundable. The remaining 50% is held as a deposit which is refundable up until six weeks prior to the commencement of the period of hire. If the other half of the full balance of rent is not received by the due date, the Estate is entitled to cancel the booking.

Details we need to reserve a cottage: your name, the number of adults and children in your party, telephone number, address and email address (if applicable).

Prices are per week and include electricity. We provide duvets and pillows in each of the cottages, but ask you to bring your own linen (sheets, duvet/pillow covers and towels).

Sorry, we do not allow pets and all of the houses are non smoking only

Ardnadrochet Cottage, Stable Cottage, Hazelbank Cottage and Auchnacraig Lodge rent from Saturday to Saturday and Old Ferry House and Grasspoint Cottage rent from Sunday to Sunday.

All houses are available from 4pm and we ask you to vacate by 10am apart from The Lodge which is available from 5pm and we ask you to vacate by 11am

In the houses with open fires/wood burning stoves, you will find some chopped wood, kindling, firelighters and matches provided when you arrive.  We also provide tea towels, an oven glove, bath mats, washing up liquid and cloth in every house

We provide a local information folder in each house which we update every year along with leaflets for boat trips, attractions etc.
