Fishnish Explore the area, things to do and more

With binoculars, telescopes, its own observatory and pond, not forgetting the stunning sea views too, Clover Cottage makes a fantastic base for wildlife lovers. Come rain or shine, this cottage makes it easy to get close to nature and experience fantastic sightings, promising you an exceptional wildlife experience on the beautiful Isle of Mull.

Clover and Daisy Cottage at Corry Meadows are situated just opposite Fishnish bay, with fantastic views across the sea toward the hills of Morvern. This is a great area to be based in for exploring the whole island, and it’s especially good for wildlife.

Being a new development, the owners have had the opportunity to design the accommodation to make the most of the wonderful surrounds, and have incorporated a variety of features to make this a fantastic holiday destination for families, offering a great chance to see the wildlife for which the Isle of Mull is well known.

The two holiday cottages are separated from one another with the owner’s accommodation in the centre. Guests staying at Corry Meadows share use of the fantastic purpose built, elevated observatory, which has uninterrupted views of the bay. There are telescopes and binoculars provided to view the abundance of bird and sealife in Fishnish bay, just across the road from the cottages.

Guests also have use of a 'biology lab' with its microscopes, charts, games and fishing nets - a great facility for all the family. Everything has been thought of to make this a holiday to remember, whatever the weather. Click on the links at the top of this page to read more about what is on offer.

The cottages have the same layout, benefiting from a lovely open plan living area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden area, with its pond, natural rockface and wooden walkways, with areas for sitting outdoors too. A gas effect fire in the living room is a great character feature, and the modern kitchen and dining area make this a superb place to relax in the evenings.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms (a double and twin) and a bathroom (with basin, w.c and large walk in shower. The master double bedroom upstairs has its own bathroom and wonderful views of the sea.

There are a number of local walks from the doorstep - take a stroll along the shoreline or perhaps follow the cascading burn up the hillside to the beautiful waterfalls. Details of the walks are included in the visitor folder along with lots of other helpful information to help get the most from your stay.
