Stronbeag is a comfortable and spacious cottage set in Upper Tobermory with views out over the garden towards Tobermory Bay.
A short walk from Tobermory harbour, the cottage is an excellent base for a family holiday, with easy access to the restaurants, shops, cafes, golf course and arts centre that the island capital boasts.
There is a handy boot room upon entering the house which leads through to the living room with wood burning stove and large window facing south. There are two double bedrooms (one king sized), a twin room and two bathrooms (one with a shower cubicle). The cottage has solar cells on the roof which provides heating and electricity from a renewable source.
The cottage has its own garden and there is a children's play area just two minutes walk away. There is parking at the house for two cars and bed linen is provided for your stay at no extra cost.
The colourful and picturesque island capital of Tobermory, with its brightly painted buildings on the main street and woodland fringed hills surrounding the bay, makes an ideal holiday destination for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts.
After a day out on one of the wildlife tours or boat trips you can return to Stronbeag Cottage to relax in the living room by the wood burning stove or read a book in the conservatory.
Stronbeag Cottage Information
Living Room: T.V with freeview and DVD player. Wood burning stove with some logs provided for your arrival (more can be bought locally).
Dining Room & Conservatory: Dining area with table to seat six, leading through to the conservatory with bookcase and seating.
Kitchen: Cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, wachine machine microwave and tumble dryer.
Bedrooms: Two doubles (one king sized and one standard double) and one twin room.
Bathrooms: Ground floor bathroom with shower cubicle, basin and w.c and first floor bathroom with bath, w.c and basin.
Garden: Long garden with lawn beside the house moving on to an to an area with lovely mature shrubs and views of the harbour below.
Linen: Bed linen is provided for your stay (please bring your own towels).
Extras: There is a high chair in the property and free Wi-Fi access.
