Things to Do
A short walk from the cottage there are a number of sandy beaches at the head of Lochbuie as well as the large sweeping bay of Laggan Sands. A good coastal path leads along the shore to the old farm at Glenbyre from where a smaller path continues onwards to Carsaig. This is a beautiful and rugged stretch of coast and a good place to see the wild goats.
Those feeling energetic can tackle the mountain peak of Ben Buie a great walk with stunning views over Lochbuie (please note caution and experience required). The 15th century Moy castle is located mid way along the bay of Lochbuie and is a three story stone built tower.
