Things to Do
Step off the ferry and into your holiday cottage. When you stay in Craignure, your journey to Mull couldn’t be easier and you’ll be perfectly placed to make the most of both Mull’s north and south coastlines.
There is a forestry walk at Scallastle just outside Craignure, that is the perfect stroll to enjoy as you settle in. For hill walkers, three miles south of Craignure is Dun Da Ghaoithe, Mull's second highest mountain. The views are spectacular. There is also an easy coastal walk from Garmony to Fishnish, which is a short drive up the coast.
The Isle of Mull Swimming Pool is open to the public and is within walking distance. The pool has excellent views and there is a small, separate pool for toddlers/young children too. There is also a spa, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub to be enjoyed as well as a small gym. The Craignure Golf Course is a short drive from the house and Duart Castle is just a 10-minute drive away - a visitor attraction that holds events throughout the year and has its own tearoom too.
