What's the Weather like ?
The weather on Mull, similar to the rest of the Highlands, can change very quickly. You can be caught in a downpour on one part part of the island, drive for 10 minutes and find yourself under sunny blue skies.
When the weather is good, make an effort to get to one of the harder to access beaches on the Ross of Mull during the middle of summer and enjoy a sandy beach all to yourself with sparkling blue water.
Walking during the summer days when it gets light in the early hours of the morning and doesn't get dark until well after 10pm, allows you to plan for a long day out and make the most of your time here.
It does get blustery in the winter but the reduced number of tourists makes the island feel like a different place altogether and a cold, clear day in the winter is truly beautiful on Mull.
