Gathering of the Clan Maclean at Duart Castle - 18th to 24th June 2012
The Gathering for 2012 - exactly 100 years after the first Gathering - will take place during the week from the 18th to the 24th of June 2012, with the Gathering itself at Duart castle on Saturday the 23rd June 2012

Mendelssohn on Mull - 1st to 7th July 2012
This festival brings the best young professional musicians together with their more accomplished counterparts in the inspiring surroundings of the Isle of Mull.

Tobermory Games - Thursday 19th July 2012
With traditionally kilted strongmen picking up, walking with and then tossing the caber, others swirling round and throwing the hammer, and teams of determined men struggling to gain ground in the tug o' war its an exciting, invigorating atmosphere even for a spectator! Locals and visiting runners compete in the hill running race, disappearing from the games field whilst Pipe Bands entertain the crowds with their music and marching and Scottish Country Dancers perform on stage.

Bunessan Show - 5th August 2012
Bunessan hosts an annual agricultural show in August, with livestock, produce tent, beer tent, refreshments and stalls. Usually followed by evening dance at Bunessan Community Centre.
Salen Show - 9th August 2012
One of Britain's longest running agricultural shows - The Salen Show is held in the field by Aros Bridge. Livestock is exhibited, produce and craft tents, pony club events and a dog show are among a few of the things to see.

Taste of Mull and Iona Food Festival - September 2012
The Taste of Mull and Iona Food Festival is a week long celebration of the islands diverse local produce promoting the islands of Mull and Iona as quality food destinations. During this week all restaurants, cafes and tearooms will feature special dishes using local grown foods such as mussels, oysters, langoustine, highland beef, Iona lamb, wild venison.

Tour of Mull Rally - 12th to 14th October 2012
Some claim that the Tunnock’s Tour of Mull Rally is the best rally in the world. While many would be happy to argue against this, the fact remains that the Tunnock’s Tour of Mull Rally in Scotland features some of the most spectacular rally racing track in the world.
