Garden Cotage is a stone built bungalow 300 yards above Aros Bridge, with a clear view of the hills of Morvern. The cottage was built in 1914 to provide accommodation for the estate's gardener and gamekeeper. The local sheep are very friendly here and may even try to shelter from the rain under the porch!
After turning onto the Glenaros Estate, to access the cottage, you drive over a small bridge, through woodland and up a private track.
This is a one-storey building with comfortable, light and airy rooms and a cosy sitting room with open fire. A great place to stay for a holiday - in a secluded setting but with easy access to the rest of the island.
The double bedroom has an old fireplace and overlooks the garden and woodland beyond. There is a dining table in the kitchen and an open fire in the sitting room.
