Tobermory is the 'capital' of the Isle of Mull and is famous for its distinctive painted buildings that line the harbour. There are cafes, gift shops, galleries and plenty of places to eat, often serving the seafood that is fished in the waters around the island. Island experiences don’t get more authentic, or more fresh and local, than that.
Being situated in Tobermory, guests at Staffa Apartment can make use of all attractions here - the distillery tour is not to be missed and a whale watching trip or boat tour is a brilliant way to see some wildlife and get out on the water. There is also an Arts Centre where live music, exhibitions and events take place throughout the year. The theatre is on the outskirts of the village alongside Aros Park, which has some lovely woodland footpaths and waterfalls to discover.
The apartment itself is located in the iconic 'red building', otherwise known as Portmore Place. Situated on the second floor, the holiday apartment has superb views of the sea. There are stone steps at the back of the building, which give you access to the communal hallway. Lismore Apartment is situated in the same building and also sleeps two, should you have friends or family planning to join you.
The main living area is light and bright, with leather sofas, a feature fireplace and dining table and chairs. There's a useful window seat, great for watching the fishing boats, yachts and dinghies coming and going from the bay - if you are lucky you might even spot an otter or dolphin, which are sometimes seen in the harbour. There's a flatscreen television with DVD player and a selection of books to keep you entertained in the evenings.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and sits to the rear of the apartment. The bathroom is also reached via the hall and is to the rear of the building. The double bedroom is to the front, giving it prime position to take in the outstanding views over the harbour. It’s a scene that will make you smile every morning you wake up to it, no matter how many days you stay. Bed linen and towels are provided and there is a wardrobe, chest of drawers and beside tables for all your belongings.
A little further afield you can explore places like the Calgary beach - a white sandy bay just 30 minutes’ drive from Tobermory. Mull is a great destination for walkers, wildlife enthusiasts, cyclists and photographers and Tobermory is a beautiful location for a holiday on the island. There are lovely walks starting from the village itself at either end of the harbour as well as wildlife watching boat trips departing from the harbour.

Parking and Entrance: There is unrestricted parking on the harbour front. There are stairs at the back of the property to enter the building, Staffa Apartment is on the second floor.
