Glenraille is an exceptional holiday house on Mull. Located beside the sea at Lochdon, this property is a destination it its own right and is ideal for those looking for somewhere extra special to stay. The surrounds are beautiful; a backdrop of mountains with the sea on your doorstep, and the building has been designed to make the most of the views. Great care has been taken to create this stylish and luxurious holiday accommodation. Well suited for a special occasion, luxury retreat for two, or just a family holiday to remember.

Entering Glenraille via the wooden decking with outdoor seating, there is a striking open space with floor to ceiling windows giving abundant natural light. The house has an open plan layout and a solid oak framed construction which adds character to this fabulous living space. The use of high quality materials make Glenraille a very warm and comfortable house. The breathtaking views and large open spaces are complemented by comfortable furnishings and a high level of attention to detail throughout. The house has a contemporary feel with excellent fixtures and fittings.

The large kitchen and dining area has ample workspace and is a pleasure to cook and dine in. This leads onto a fabulous viewing area with huge oak framed windows and view of the tidal sea loch directly in front of the house. A fantastic place to watch for wildlife, take in the changing scenery and relax. Leading on from this there is another sitting area with leather sofas around a stove - ideal for those looking for a cosy spot to enjoy a glass of whisky of an evening. Wireless internet access is also provided as well as reading material, a music system and large television.

Stairs lead from the spacious ground floor hall to the mezzanine landing with a breathtaking views through the large windows which runs from the very top of the building to ground floor level. There are two spacious ensuite double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a superb sea view and a luxurious bathroom with a deep bath, large walk in power shower, w.c. and hand basin. The second double bedroom also has great sea views and has an ensuite with bath with shower, w.c. and basin. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.

There is ample parking for two cars to the rear of the property, and easy access to the sea loch for kayaks and small boats. There are nice walks from the house and it is an ideal area for those wanting to see Mull’s wildlife.
Craignure, the nearest village, is a five minute drive away and has a village shop, a cafe, the Isle of Mull swimming pool, a pub and a golf course. It is a forty five minute trip to Tobermory - the island's main village which has an excellent range of shops and cafes as well as a theatre and arts centre. Iona is reached via the ferry from Fionnphort on Mull which is also a forty five minute drive away.

Property Overview

Open Plan Living Room and Kitchen: Large open plan area with wood stove, LCD 32 inch television with free sat service, dvd player, selection of books, music system (Zeppelin ipod dock) and comfortable seating. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, larder fridge with water chiller, dishwasher, microwave and cafetiere. There is a separate utility room at the back of the house with chest freezer, washing machine and dryer.

Bedrooms: Two double bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Orthopaedic mattresses with hypoallergenic pillows and duvets. Hairdryer.

Bathrooms: The master double has a deep bath, large power shower, basin and w.c. The second ensuite bathroom has also has a bath, shower, basin and w.c. and both are beautifully appointed. There is a cloakroom (toilet and basin) on the ground floor too.

Garden: There is a wooden decking area to the front of the property. Garden table and four chairs. Parking for two cars to the rear of the property.

Heating: Heating via a 10 kw wood burner, solar gain, supplemented by electric radiators hot water via immersion heater.

Wood Burning Stove: A supply of wood is provided for your stay.
